On 18 February 2017 a seminar on Quality Standards of Social Services was held in Varna. It was organised by Agency for Social Development Vision in partnership with the National Alliance for Social Responsibility (NASO) and was attended by about 60 social service specialists from Varna, Ruse, Shumen, Bourgas, Yambol, Stara Zagora, Razgrad and Targovishte, aiming to discuss the norms and practices related to the quality of social services in Bulgaria.
The event moderator was Zhaneta Georgieva, President of Agency Vision. On behalf of NASO, Georgi Georgiev, President of the organisation, welcomed the attendees. He gave an account of NASO's achievements in the field of social services development in recent years, drawing attention to the network's research and developments in the quality of social services and good practices in Europe. NASO's President set forth the standards and criteria for the quality of social services developed by the organisation. 

Social service specialists from Day Care Centre for Children with Disabilities “Daga” — Yambol, Centre for Mental Health — Ruse as well as Centre for Social Rehabilitation and Integration “Impuls” — Varna shared their experience and good practices. The participants in the seminar also outlined their own proposals for standards and criteria for the quality of social services in Bulgaria to be summarised by NASO and proposed for discussion to the responsible bodies.
