1. The CSRI 2 was launched in 2011.

2. Target group:

  • Adults with disabilities and adults with special needs.
  • Age limit: over 18 years of age.

3. Brief details of the CSRI services:

  • Providing  information and consulting services for social and legal protection, providing intermediary services, developing culture and social interaction skills, improving communication skills and abilities;
  • Training courses aimed at developing computer skills and foreign language skills, as well as skills in using video editing software, shaping talents and creative abilities, and providing information on art, culture, and civic education;
  • Leisure time activities, such as celebrating national and traditional holidays, holding birthday parties, visiting cultural events, going on excursions and picnics, getting involved in shared interest groups;
  • Rehabilitation Psychology – studying mental processes and personality structure, developing cognitive processes, behavioral modeling;
  • Performing tests and individual tasks, holding talks, training and other methods guided by a psychologist;
  • Art therapy focusing on the art-making process as therapeutic in music, iconography, fine and applied arts, literature, journalism, photography;
  • Occupational therapy focusing on developing clients’ skills enabling them to work as cooks and waiters, perform activities of daily living, and use domestic appliances.

4. The Centre’s capacity is 30 clients.

5. Required application documents:

  • Application form;
  • A copy of expert decision of the applicant implemented by Territorial Expert Medical Commissions (TEMC) or the Medical Consultative Commission (MCC) 
  • Declaration of marital status, income and assets;
  • A document certifying the general health characteristics of the applicant;
  • A document certifying the health characteristics of the applicant for using community based services/ specialized institution prepared by a psychiatrist.

Monthly service fee is determined in accordance with Decree No 216 of 22 July 2011 amending the tariff of fees for state-funded social services, approved by Decree No 91 of Council of Ministers 2003.
